Once again we enjoyed Huertas Restaurant! We make our annual trip to the Indio, Palm Springs area and never miss the chance to dine at HR......and for myself, never order anything other than the combination "cocktail ", which I described many years ago as the best that I've ever had. I again confirmed that this year on 2/1/2025! My wife has her usual chicken enchiladas which she has at every Mexican restaurant she described HR's as excellent. Others in the group were very happy with their choices of the sea food stew and chimichanga. The service this year as always was excellent in this family owned restaurant. We will be back, hopefully for years to come!

We were a party of six the Wednesday before the Coachella festival. I don't know what was going on but we were the only folks in the restaurant for most of our meal. We asked the staff and they told us it was very usual. The chips and salsa were good, and paired well with the margaritas we ordered. The guacamole appetizer was freshly made. Everyone ordered something different: from combinations to ala carte tacos to the carnitas plate. Everyone enjoyed their meal and there were no complaints. It was a leisurely meal and the service matched our vibe. It wasn't super attentive but then again it wasn't expensive in an area where you can easily drop a couple of hundred dollars on dinner per couple. For tasty Mexican food at a good price, this is a great choice.

Fantastic ambiance! I felt like I was in Ensenada or Tijuana having lunch! Great service. Good blended salsa & fresh chips Chips (not warmed). Food was excellent ordered my burrito with no onions, it was delivered to me exactly the way I ordered it. Good neighborhood spot to hang out! Oops! no pics! We ate it so quickly! Overall we had a fun afternoon.

They've recently doubled the size of this restaurant so way more seating, but that probably came with an increase in rent which seems to have trickled into the menu prices First impressions are everything, so my judgement on Mexican food tends to sway heavily with the quality of the chips and salsa. This place doesn't disappoint. It has the perfect amount of spice, great flavor and an almost creamy consistency The classic margarita is pretty good too. A little on the pricey side, but made strong My entree was the enchiladas. They have a great overall flavor but nothing stands out as spectacular. It's a good sized portion. The red sauce is good. Not spicy at all
